The Science of Microbiome Management:
From the perspective of our research scientists, this set is designed for Biofilm Architecture Management. Periodontal disease and peri-implantitis are caused by bacteria hiding in stagnant niches where oxygen cannot reach.
The Focus Head (Round): Its compact, circular profile creates a ?cupping? action around the tooth, utilizing hydrodynamic waves to flush out the ?nests? of bacteria between crowded teeth and around molars.
The Target Head (Single Tuft): This is a precision instrument. It physically disrupts the biofilm at the gingival margin (gum line) and around orthodontic brackets or implant collars.
The Result: By combining these two heads, you don?t just clean; you change the environment. You introduce oxygen and mechanical disruption into the pockets, shifting the microbiome from pathogenic (disease-causing) to healthy. This set is the gold standard for periodontal maintenance, implant care, and cleaning around orthodontic appliances.
Q: Do I need to use both heads every time?
A: We recommend using the Focus head daily and the Target head at least once a day (preferably at night) to ensure no plaque calcifies into tartar in the hidden spots.
Q: Is this safe for my fresh implants?
A: Yes. In fact, it is essential. The Konex HD? bristles are ultrasoft and non-abrasive, protecting the delicate seal between your gum and the implant post.
Q: Will these fit my older Edelwhite brush?
A: Yes. This set is compatible with all Edelwhite Sonic toothbrushes (SG8, SG9, etc.), so you can upgrade your care without buying a new device.
